I was a member of Chinese Student & Scholars Association in East Tennessee State University. My job was to help to setup and organize campus activities including New Year Festivals and Moon Cake Festivals ​

I was selected as the vice president of Chinese Student & Scholar Association of ETSU and my job was to talking with the supervisor who are responsible for all campus community about settling campus activities and apply for the fund for it. ​

 

 

Senator of SGA of ETSU

2017-2018

 

I was recommended by the supervisor to run for the election of the Senator of Student Government Association which represent the entire student group.  And we have to write our legislation based on students' concerns and vote, forward them to the president of the university.

I worked on a piece of legislation that encourage school to provide more public and state's law information ​including alcohol and smoking problems for new coming international students.

Lab Assistant in ETSU's Library

2016-2019

I was working in the library of ETSU as a lab assistant. My job was to check all computers and printers, report problems. And we also responsible for helping students with ​the basic software usage including Microsoft Office.

Software Developer for campus project

2018 Fall 

​

I was taking a class called Software Engineering 1 which we had to work as a five persons team and got what campus assigned us done. I was the developer and I was responsible for making a chatroom function with JS and PHP for the application and figure out the route lists with Laravel.

2019 Spring

​

We were designing an application to keep track of students' performance on quizzes for specific class and generate statistics based on school years which will make the instructor be aware of the difficulty of this class. I was responsible for making this web application by using ASP.NET, including data transfer and generate statistical report.
